Inspiration
Got the brand new issue of Somerset Life today. As usually pure eye-candy and lots of idéas how to elevate every day items and occasions into something extraordinary.
Also nice to see my story about Nostalgi , a local vintage dress shop in Aarhus. of course I know the text as well as the photoes as I made it but still it´s thrilling to see what it looks like for real in the Locals of Intrigues department

Midsummer
It´s pouring down! Hopefully this is not the beginning of a long wet and windy summer – like the summer last year…
Wonder if there´ll be many Midsummer bonfires tonight?

Knitters´ Café
A glimpse from today’s knit event: about 40-50 knitters of all ages met in Aarhus´ Music house to celebrate the World Wide Knit in Public Day.
More knitters had brought patterns, recipes and examples of their work – for mutual inspiration. So, as you can imagine, it was an afternoon of animated talking, knitting, drinking coffee…

Open air studio
I’ve finally stopped considering and started to do the manual work at my XL book. The weather´s just perfect these days for outdoor studio work – lucky me – because this one’s a really huge and messy one and terribly awkward to handle!
Emilie kindly made some snapshots of the process, please notice my summer short hair. I cut it two weeks ago – and yes – I did it myself!

Green meditation
It´s a bit far distance – but I have started to go by bicycle when I have to go to town these days. It takes some time, yes, but can it be more beautiful than this?
And it´s so nice to bike and think, almost a meditative state of mind. Especially when choosing the green route…
