3 x Christmas Fair and 1 Swedish Connection
December activities: 1/12: BIAM (Bank of International Art Money) is invited by “Aftenshowet ” (TV) to participate in the Christmas fair at Rådhuspladsen (Town Hall Square) in Copenhagen. I’ve sent a nice bunch of freshly made art money. Had I lived a little closer to CPH I would definitely meet up in person! Now I hope to get a glimpse of the BIAM boot on TV…
At Samsø I (my stuff) will be present at two local events – one exhibition 30/11-6/1 at Samsø Turist- and Culture Room – and one fair 6-7/12 at Café Sophie Amalie´s.
And finally I’m happy to announce a selected collection of my (recycled paper + textile) collages are now available at Sätra Brunn – the most lovely, atmospheric “classical Swedish” countryside lifestyle shop situated at an 300 years old kursted - now conference centre, trädgård and lifestyle shop – north of Stockholm.
As you might have noticed I have this hang of “everything Swedish”, so I feel very privileged to be represented at Sätra Brunn – a relation that will hopefully last far beyond the Christmas season!
Have a look at Anne Marie Wikman ´s blog, her shop and my collages here

More photos of Pack Up Your Troubles. It arrived in Vilnius last week.
Our first Suitcase Book is at display in Italy – we just received the message today – it has won the 3rd prize. I’m still jumping! My feet insist!

Pack UP your Troubles
As promised Gulla documented every single page before sending “Pack UP your Troubles” to Vilnius. Look forward to see on display – I’m very happy how it came out!
I also send two individual works; however, this is my favourite!

A full speed process
Sunday evening – I’m totally exhausted – but fullfilled - after a truly inspired, speeded and innovative weekend within the field of Artrovert.
Gulla arrived in high spirits (only 2 days newly hatched twin grandma!) while Lis and I set out in more low key positions for various reasons. However, starting off with a cup of coffee and a refreshing walk-and-talk-and-catch-up-session in bright, cool November air at sunset we managed to lift us selves to a hiigher, more sparkling level of energy from where a flod of ideas for new co-worked-out-suitcase-books sprinkled.
Afterwards we went straight home and in a blizzard of creativity made a beautiful, black suitcase book for the 5.th International Artists´ Books Triennale Vilnius. Taking advantage of the immediate inspiration of the present now we decided to litterally Pack UP all troubles and, well, yes, send it all off in a suitcase to Vilnius!
Working almost day, night and day we just managed to create all the pages and the cover (the suitcase) – but we couldn’t find the time for stitching everything together. Back in Copenhagen Gulla will finish the stitching within the next days. It means that neither Lis or I will see the final result(!) until the exhibition takes place in April…
Fortunately Gulla has promised to shot - and mail – A LOT of photos before shipping our work. I hope to bring it here within a couple of days. See you!
