Works accepted
So far it seems that also the works of my fellow colleagues (from X-piir & Artrovert) have been accepted by 5th International Artist’s Book Triennial Vilnius 2009. I’m very happy on their – as well as my own – behalf.
I plan to attend the opening – now I’ll probably have company!
After Vilnius (Lithuania) parts of the exhibition is displayed in Leipzig (Germany) and Seoul (South Korea) … not to mention at Art Center Silkeborg Bad (Denmark!!!)
In Silkeborg the triennial will become a part of a major artists´ books project that includes 2 exhibitions and one workshop for artists. It’s a project that has been in the melting pot for some time now. Monday I meet with my colleagues (X-piir) who help with some of the planning. We still have to make a few decisions before the list of participating artists is official.

Curl up with the cats
Copy the cats. Curl up at the couth (if you can find an available corner…) and enjoy the new Winter 09 Somerset LIFE.
I especially recommend the “Pillow Talk” article, describing how a number of “Bonnes-Viantes-artists” got each a plain IKEA pillow case (standart cotton 20” x 30”) and were challenged to transform it into something else.
I like when people work under the same headline – but are free to walk in total different directions. Now it’s great to see all the fabulous and more or less functional results. (More “Pillow Talk” here - Thanks to Pam Garrison!)

What´s up 2009?
Challenges, choices – what will the new year bring?
Will your feelings, thoughts and actions take you up or down ?
