This year put an “X” in your calendar at 14.th June as you´re hereby invited to join the 2008 world-wide-knit-in-public-day (wwkip-day) in Aarhus. We meet at same place as last year – the Green Area in front of Aarhus´ Musikhus/ Concert Hall from 13 to 16. Back up plan if it´s rainy or windy: The southern part of the Musikhus´ Foyer. Just bring your knitting gear, friends and high spirits.
See you!
OBS: Enjoy more pictures here. If you don’t happen to live next to Aarhus check out here for local events.

Jamen – det lyder da fantastisk. Vil allerede nu begynde at krydse fingre for godt vejr, og sætte kryds i kalenderen.
Hello Hanne,
that’s seems such a pleasant affair ! Haven’t heard of anything like it, but a lot of years ago, my friend Han went to a folkfestival. She also had her knitting gear with her and the wool ended up being trown all over the tent… ( but they had a lot of fun!).
I will think of you knitting outside, when I’m listening to Tokio Hotel in Nijmegen with my daughter that day… ( we go from Belgium to the Netherlands because she’s a huge fan and what do mothers do for their daughter…)
I’ve finally saw your inspiring articles in the Stampington publications !
I would like to use the waxed and oiled papers to wrap real presents (my small books) in it. Do you have experience with this : does the oil or the wax leave stains after they dried or do I use an extra paper to wrap the books in before I wrap them in the waxed / oiled paper ?
thanks for the ideas !
greetings
Inge ( from Belgium)
Oh wow, that looks like so much fun :o) I wish I could come!!!
