Weekend Retreat

Last weekend I went to Samsø with Emilie – to just relax and find energy for the future planning of logistics / PR / applications to foundations and arts councils / production of works etc etc for my upcoming great Nordic artists’ books project with CONTEXT, that launch at Silkeborg Bad to April. But before I have quite some logistics etc. to handle … The sheer number of participants – more than 30 visual artists, performers, etc. from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Faroe Islands and Greenland – makes it tough to keep track of, it really calls for all my  powers and organizational talents!

So we welcomed this little retreat of 2 days of ‘doing-next-to-nothing’ … like a visti to Mårup Gallery to see a local artist Ilse Aranti reflecting on ‘Powers of Imagination’, having coffee at Skipperly where we incidentially happened to gate crash a wedding, goving for a walk at Ballen Marina in a gentle Septemberbreeze, and a total nonsense activity like organizing 1000 pieces of a puzzle…
