Yesterday I flickered trough a bunch of my collages and stuff – trying to pick out some qualified art work for another new Somerset publication. Tell me, how many magazines and special publications do these people manage to start….?! Anyway, I can’t resist this call!
I love combining sewing with mixed-media projects . Stitches are not limited just to fabrics. Stitching can be added to almost anything including paper, transparencies, fabric, batting, canvas, foil, paper bags, and much more. It´s a great way to connect layers of material.
Now I plan to send some of these art-money, business cards, book-covers and collages. Hope to see at least some of it on newsstands in half a year…
