From the artsts’ books workshop at Langska huset in Visby, Gotland where Marianne Laimer and I teached traditional Korean stitching and tunnel books last weekend.
Langska Hus itself, residence of the local Hemslöjden, is a wonderfully situated and inspiring house to be in. All over the place you find fine examples of Swedish craft and design: furniture, textile, tableware, baskets, chandeliers, decorative elements etc. that makes you want to rush home and immediately start your own art & design line.
Upstairs the exhibition of CON-TEXT is displayed – downstairs you find various ateliers and a library. I really wouldn’t mind going once again! Wanna join?
